Getting started with the
               California Cultural Data Project

Dear Colleague,

We are pleased to announce the January 4, 2008 launch of the California Cultural Data Project (California CDP). This project is the most ambitious and comprehensive effort ever to gather and analyze information about the contributions of the cultural sector to California’s economy and quality of life. During the coming year, applicants to many California grant programs will be asked to participate in the California CDP.

Get started by visiting the California CDP Web site http://www.caculturaldata.org today! Create an account by selecting New User Registration. Review the online training and start your profile.

Attend a free training session.

These important training sessions will show you and your staff how to enter data into the California CDP and use its powerful reporting features.

This event is hosted by the City of San Diego Commission for Arts and Culture and the San Diego Foundation.

 Refreshments will be served.

Parking is available in the Chula Vista Nature Center lot located at I-5 and E Street in Chula Vista. To access the lot, take the E Street exit in Chula Vista and head West on E Street, which ends in the parking lot. Shuttles run every 15 minutes to the Nature Center. The first shuttle is available at 9:55am.
